Bottling system works great for honey. Upon arrival one of the hoses inner wire support was crushed. It was easy enough to bend back into shape but it was disappointing that it was damaged. The machine worked so well though it outweighed the disappointment of the crushed hose. Once you set up the weight of the fluid desired the machine weighs the bottle and tares or zeros, then fills the bottle with the correct weight of liquid. The pump does a short reverse just as it stops filling which prevents drips. I'm very happy with this system.

I’ve done a few hundred bottles and this is a good machine. Intake hose comes in the bottom of the gear box which is nice for draining. I lose very little honey in the hose. One tip is that it has to be primed. I pour 3 lbs honey in the output hose and then run in reverse just long enough to fill gear box which is clear so you can see the honey. I warm honey to 90 degrees and it works well. Place the fill nozzle just slightly above bottle or the force of the honey coming out can tip the bottle enough to knock it over. Great machine for the price.

So, I bought this because, after some discussion with the manufacturer, I was assured that it would handle hot (200F) liquids, which is important to me because I make hot sauce and wanted to automate my bottling a bit (ladle and funnel = lots of waste, very time-consuming), but I needed something that would fill not only a 5oz (150mL) woozy bottle, but also a 1/2 gallon (1750mL) jug for my restaurant clients.I haven't put it to work yet, so I can't speak to the temperature tolerance, but I'm very concerned that they sent me two of the same size nozzles, which have openings that seem to me to be far too big for the tiny necks on a woozy bottle. It'd be nice if they included a finer nozzle for small bottles like this.Granted, they're pitching this for honey, not hot sauce, so I can't complain too loudly - no one puts honey in a small-neck bottle. It's solidly constructed, and the use of weight as a vector for volume is pretty smart. I can't wait to give it a spin in the kitchen to see if the hoses can tolerate hot-fill. I also like the ease of teardown and manageable weight, as I work in a commissary kitchen and storing equipment there costs extra on top of what I pay to cook there.4 stars, would be 5 if they included (or offered separately) a nozzle designed for small-neck bottles. As it is right now, I'll have to use a funnel with my woozy bottles, which is an extra step in calibration and in filling that I'd prefer not to have.I'll update this once I put it through its paces with my actual product next month.
