Yes, I know these are made in China but I'm only trying out the hobby so it's the price point I was going for. These will sit outside until I get my NUCS next spring. Easy to assemble. You'll need some good wood glue. Although these are dipped in wax, I'm ready to paint when they need it. I was surprised as to how well everything fit together. I had no issues and actually love them so I would say buy with confidence.
Heavily waxed so I was very pleased I did not have to paint it. Easy to construct. Be sure to use a square for the corners before screwing it together. I used this hive and bought an Apimaye bottom board that I screwed onto it. Their bottom board was well made but I wanted something specific with the Apimaye bottom board. As soon as I split my hives, I will buy another one. Great langstroth hive!
